Unfortunately, my plan for wading the little red river for 2-3 days was thwarted by an unpredicted and unscheduled release of water during my entire trip. Nevertheless, roll casting and high sticking the 11 foot seven weight and a 15-20 foot leader with a tungsten size 22 zebra midge at the end of the line was enough to entice a few beautiful and distinctly colored rainbows.
